Our customer had an existing eBay shop and wished to sell directly to an alternate customer base.  We were asked to build a custom shopping basket mechanism to allow new and existing customers to order quickly.

What we delivered

Following requirements analysis, we built a streamlined shopping basket engine which allowed customers to quickly purchase items.  They were also supplied with an ordering processing system.  We integrated both PayPal and SagePay payment gateways to process payments.

Systems integration was performed via SOAP with Google Products so the same products now appear in multiple locations based on a single online browser-based administration system.

The technologies used included: PHP5, mySQL5, HTML4, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, SOAP, cURL and XML.
