We were asked to develop an easy to use mechanism to allow staff to add, update and remove current properties online which can be searched against and enquired about. We also asked to develop an online management and accounts system allowing staff to monitor and share information relating to villa bookings and sales. The system is to replace their shared Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Working in collaboration with a web design agency, we developed the database framework and integrated their design into a bespoke content management system to allow for the client to upload properties and edit information pages. For the site visitors, we developed an extensive search mechanism with results filtering.
For the bookings we developed a private password-protected website which allowed our customer to add, update and remove bookings and sales. Multiple logins and account profiles for staff. Ability to share information with management companies with their own separate login to control what they can and can't see.
