Putting yourself in your customers shoes allows you to get inside their head and understand their selection criteria for purchasing your product(s) or service(s).

Things to consider include:
  • What problems do they face?
  • How can your product / service help fix those problems?
  • Where do the buyers of your products / services hang out online?


Speak to your customer's needs and desires

Once you have the attention of a potential customer, how are you going to convince them to purchase your product or service?

Things to consider include:
  • Communicate in a way which gets them 'nodding along' with agreement
  • Make it easy for the potential buyer to make an enquiry / take the next step
  • At what point is pricing / cost / return on investment discussed?
