There are many reasons to consider a new website design.
Here is our list of signs that it might be time for you to consider a new website design for your business:
The current design looks dated
Unfortunately designs date and what looked good a few years ago might look dated now.
Because of this we recommend our customers consider a website redesign every 3 years.
Your website is difficult to use
Do you see a very large drop-off between people entering your website and not completing your expected action, e.g. getting in touch or making a purchase?
If so, it may be because the website is difficult to use / navigate or just plain confusing to the target audience.
Making a website easy to use is key to increase conversion and a new web design can help alot here.
Your website doesn't speak to your target market
To maximise the change of converting potentials into buyers, you need to speak directly to them so they nod along.
The language you use, the images and visual layout are part of this and if it's not what your target market expects, it will put them off.
Your competitors have a better website
If your competitors have a better website, e.g. easier to use, looks better / more professional, it's possible you might be losing business to them.
Your website isn't mobile friendly
Even in 2021, we see many websites which aren't mobile friendly and require a lot of pinch-n-zoom to navigation and use.
This makes a website seem very out of date these days as a lot of people use mobile phones to visit websites
