The first step is analysing your needs to understand what is required. Sometimes this is straight-forward. Sometimes it's not and requires a lot of discussion and time for investigation / research / prototyping from both the customer and us before we can begin.

The next step is the development of the actual solution. This involved both programming and testing. The larger the project, the longer this takes.

After that there is delivery, which may require some training.

Finally, there is support and ongoing maintenance / updates.

Depending on what is created, this may be minimal with ad-hoc changes based on your needs.

Alternatively, regular maintenance and updates are required.
